Welcome to Marie Saintonge's Hawazone

Marie Saintonge is a world music flutist and composer. She plays professionally in various groups, their repertoire including Brazilian, African, Arabic, jazz, classical, pop, hip hop, lounge and traditional folk music, as well as all Latin and Caribbean styles. In addition, she just released her second album, entitled Hawazone, which is a mix of all those styles. Saintonge’s concept for Hawazone involves exploring the extraordinary and universal zones of the plannet. She also works continuously to increase her knowledge of flutes from different cultures and world music traditions. Saintonge also studied with Pedro Eustache, a specialist in world flutes who is based in Los Angeles and who tours throughout the globe with artists of world renown such as Ravi Shankar, Paul McCartney, Yanni and Gogoosh.
